Renew your DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance policy — select from a wide range of premium payment options offered for your convenience and ease.
 

Renew or revive your policy, using the online payment option to pay your premium with your credit card, debit card, cash card or by Net Banking facility.

Premium payments at our Branch Offices can be done by:

Cash (up to Rs.50, 000) Cheque
Credit Card Demand Draft

For all payments made at the branch office, you would receive an acknowledgment.

 

Payment via Credit Card at Customer Service Helpline (Toll Free):
You can pay your renewal premium through your credit over the phone. It is convenient and secure way of making payment. You will be assisted by our customer service representative in making the payment.
Please keep OTP (One time Password) handy before calling Customer Service Helpline. OTP is one time password issued by your credit card company to make payment through credit card over the phone. It has limited time validity. For more information, you can get in touch with your credit card company.
Our Customer Service Helpline Number is 1800-102-7070 (toll free). This service is available from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Payment via Credit Card at our Offices:
You can pay your renewal premium through your credit card in any of our branch offices. Just walk in to our branch office and swipe your credit card. (No transaction fee)

You can visit any Axis bank branch ( link of Axis bank branch)in India and can pay your premium over the counter through
- Cheque
- Cash (Upto Rs. 50, 000)
- Demand Draft

Please carry the billing notice while visiting the Axis Bank branch (not mandatory). You would receive an acknowledgement from the bank.
This payment option is available within the payment window of 50 days before the Due date & up to 179 days after the Due date. This option is not available for Top-up payments.

You can also choose to avail Electronic Clearance System (ECS), an automated facility that debits the premium amount from your bank account on a date decided by you.

Important Instructions:

  • Policyholders can opt for ECS / Direct Debit facility at any time during policy term
  • Company offers this facility free of cost to all its policyholders
  • To avail this facility, you are required to submit the below mentioned documents, at least 60 days prior to the next premium due date: 

Completely filled and duly signed ECS/ Direct Debit mandate along with one original cancelled cheque (of the bank account mentioned in the mandate form) with policyholder name clearly printed on the cheque leaf or Photocopy of self attested Bank statement or Pass book for account details verification.

  • In case of monthly mode policies, the policyholder is required to pay two month premium in advance along with the mandate form.
  • Original mandate should be submitted with every application received at DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance. “In case MICR code begins with ‘ZERO’ please obtain correct MICR code from respective bank branch along with bank attestation or updated cheque leaf“.
  • Policyholders can Opt for draw dates as mentioned on the mandate form, for timely debit of due renewal premium.
  • In case of joint account, signatures of both the account holders are mandatory.
  • Company stamp is required in case account holder is a proprietary firm.
  • In case of incorrect/incomplete information registration would not be initiated.
  • Timelines for ECS/ Direct Debit mandate registration is average 30 Days from the date of request received (once policy is issued).
  • In case of the above amount varying on account of Counter offers, revised premiums, additional insurance/riders, revised ECS mandate is required to submit.
  • In case the opted debit date is before the due date, then amount paid in advance will remain as interest free deposit and will be settled against only on the premium due date.
  • In case the policy is in ‘Lapse’ status or the renewal premium(s) due falls in next 60 days, the policyholder is required to pay the due premium(s) either through cheque or cash.
  • In case the debit draw date is falling on a holiday, the premium amount would be deducted on the next working day.
  • Company allows its policyholders the facility to withdraw from ECS/ Direct Debit mode at least 15 days prior to the due date of ECS/ Direct Debit submission.
  • There are ‘NO’ additional charges towards cancellation of the ECS/ Direct Debit mode or recovery of such additional charges from the benefits payable under the policy.
  • Premium payment for ECS locations falling under non-rolling settlement will be debited on the dates given by RBI/Clearing House.

National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT)/Electronic Cash Management System (E-CMS)

Option 1
You can exercise this option to make premium payment through net banking in 4 easy steps:

Step 1 Visit your bank’s website and Log-in to your account through login id and password provided by your bank.
Step 2 Go to the money transfer menu in your account and follow the simple steps.

Step 3 Enter the following information in the relevant fields and proceed.
           Beneficiary Name:    DHFL Pramerica Ltd.eCMS account

           Bank Name:             HDFC BANK LTD

           Branch Name:          Sandoz Branch, Mumbai

           IFSC Code:             HDFC0000240

           Account No:            HB3200+ (nine digit policy number) for e.g. if your policy number is 345 then account number shall be HB3200000000345

          Account Type           Current

Step 4 Enter exact premium amount and complete the transaction. The premium payment will be transferred to DHFL Pramerica.

Important Instructions:

  • This payment option is available within the payment window of 50 days before the Due date & up to 179 days after the due date.
  • Please round off your premium amount to next decimal. For e.g. 1209.78 to be treated as 1210
  • Short premium payment shall not be allocated in your policy. Same shall be automatically returned back to your bank account in 48-72 hrs.
    For e.g. if premium due is Rs 1000 & amount transferred is Rs. 990 then entire amount of 990 shall be returned to your bank account in 48-72 hrs.
  • Excess premium payment shall not be allocated in your policy. Same shall be automatically returned back to your bank account in 48-72 hours.
  • For example, if premium due is Rs 1000 and amount transferred is Rs. 1200 then entire amount of 1200 shall be returned to your bank account in 48-72 hrs.
  • This option is not available for Top-up payments
  • HDFC Bank account holders would have to use the option of net banking for online transfer of the premium from their HDFC account. They cannot transfer premium through NEFT.

 

Option 2

You can also visit your bank branch where you hold an account and make your premium payment, provided your bank branch is NEFT enabled. Please procure the form from your bank.

You can pay your renewal premium in any of the Suvidhaa stores across the country. Please note payment will be accepted in cash and up to Rs. 49,999. You will get acknowledgement receipt over the counter. Please keep that receipt safely for future reference.
Incase due premium is more than Rs. 49,999 then you can pay through other payment options as listed in the tabs above.
This option is not available for Top-up payments.

You can pay your renewal premium in any of the One Stop Shop (OSS) stores across the country. Please note payment will be accepted in cash and up to Rs. 49,999. You will get acknowledgement receipt over the counter. Please keep that receipt safely for future reference.
Incase due premium is more than Rs. 49,999 then you can pay through other payment options as listed in the tabs above.
This option is not available for top up payments.
